Introduction to Qigong

This Five Day Challenge is an introduction to the basics of qigong. Research has shown that qigong (and taichi) has been shown to:

  • Improve cognitive function
  • Reduce stress
  • Improve sleep

These qigong exercises are here to help you calm the mind and ground yourself during times of crises.

During protests and pandemics, life gets incredibly stressful. The thing that you can do most for yourself is find a way to decrease stress, anxiety and increase your immunity. That is why, as we are seeing this scale of racial inequality, financial loss and emotional stress, qigong is an important element that you can add to your day.

I will be teaching these simple qigong exercises as an easy way for you to be grounded during these uncertain times. I look forward to seeing how you all progress to feeling more connected to yourself and your body!

That ends the 5 day Qigong challenge, but it doesn't mean your qigong journey has to end there!
