Welcome to Araya Health Academy!

The name “Araya” is dedicated to my mother because what she always taught me was how to be compassionate, honorable and trustworthy. They are the very same things that she emanated through her own life.

If you have landed here, then I know you like many of us are struggling with stress and overwhelm. Have you ever felt so swamped with the bombardment of information being thrown at us through this digital age? You are sitting at your computer and you know that you should probably go outside to get some fresh air. However, you end up sitting there for god knows how long and time goes by aimlessly. By the end of the day, your eyes are blurry, your body feels all cramped up and you wish that you did not feel so tired from the information overload.

How Can We Best Help Ourselves?

Since I was 12 years old, I have been studying how to be healthy because of my own struggles of stress, pain, and anxiety. After undergraduate school, I went straight to achieve my doctorate and two masters (with a healthy amount of sweat, blood and tears) that made me absolutely love what I do now with chiropractic and Chinese medicine. Since then, I have worked with hundreds of patients to guide them towards a more balanced and healthy lifestyle. I have studied movement since I fell in love with martial arts at a young age and have taken numerous courses to improve my own productivity and focus. I hope to be able to share this knowledge to help you improve your sleep, pain, stress and focus.

I strongly believe that the mind and body are powerful tools that can be tapped into to reach our fullest potential. This is an area where I am combining my holistic knowledge of Chinese Medicine, Chiropractic, Movement therapy (that includes martial arts) and my own interests in psychology.

About the Instructor

My name is Dr. Khanita Suvarnasuddhi. I am a licensed Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine Herbalist and Chiropractor. I have been doing martial arts since I was twelve years old, starting with Muay Thai. Currently, I do a mix of different martial arts, but my main style being Yee’s Hung Ga which I have been doing since 2015 with my Sifu in Geneva, NY.

I first started with my qigong practice in acupuncture school in 2014 and I have never looked back since then. I have been studying health for nearly all my life because of my fascination with psychology of the mind and body. When I am not in the clinic or doing work, I usually spend time hiking with my husband and my Rhodesian Ridgeback, Teddy. I also have two cats that like to cuddle with me at home named Ninja and Ginger.
